Due to the weather forecast for 12/14/22, Wednesday night, the Elementary Christmas Showcase will be postponed. It has been rescheduled for next Wednesday, Dec. 21, at 6:00 PM.


A big thank you to the American Legion Auxiliary and the Union Protestant Church for donating the sleds to the elementary. The Auxiliary also donated hats, gloves, and socks.



1st and 2nd graders learned about rocks this week so they used their m&m, sprinkles, and rice crispy minerals to make their own “rock” krispy treats!




On Friday we had a visit from a former student and alumni to talk to the welding students about his career and education path. He also demonstrated some techniques he learned, the students enjoyed having Tyler back in the shop .
Thanks Tyler for giving back to our school.




Goodman-Armstrong Creek Families: I am excited to announce our annual National Honor Society Fundraisers. Help us spread some holiday cheer!



The 5th and 6th graders did a fur trading activity after reading and learning about colonial fur trading. Some students were English traders and had to collect 22 beaver pelts, and the other students were Fur Trappers and had to trade for goods. The students had so much fun!




Kindergarten had a great time making snowmen in the classroom!


The elementary kids made some Holiday/Christmas cards for Marinette County Elderly Services in art class! All the kids loved making the cards to spread some joy for the upcoming Holiday season.

The 5th and 6th graders disguised a turkey today! They had so much fun and had such creative ideas!





COVID CLINIC will be closed today 11/17/22. It will be open tomorrow (Friday)11/18/22.

In an attempt to keep the students from using their phones I haven't been using mine to post their work so far this year, for that I apologize. The students have been working very diligently with grit and determination and I'm very proud how they are progressing. Great job!





GAC is proud to begin our selection cycle for the 2022 candidates for our chapter of the National Honor Society. Included here is the NHS Selection Procedure. Congratulations to our candidates! These students have already demonstrated a high degree of scholastic achievement!

The 5th and 6th graders had a book tasting today to “taste” the books by looking at the front cover, reading the back cover, and reading a few pages of the book. Then they chose their top 3 books they liked!




The 5th graders created animals out of base 10 blocks to practice adding decimals!





Earlier this year, 3rd and 4th graders picked a green leaf and did chromatography to see what color the leaf would turn.
Last week, they ventured out and picked a leaf from the same tree and compared them to their strips of paper. Here are the results!

Last week, we brainstormed techniques we can use to learn new words. From using resources like the dictionary to practicing new words in conversations with friends, GAC students know the tricks. Here is our freshman class practicing our favorite strategy, playing word games!
